An eye for what belongs.
Scott has spent more than 36 years working with landscapes and building outdoor spaces. His experience has taught him to pay attention to the property first and let the surroundings help shape the direction of the work.
He looks at how the land moves, what is already growing there and which materials feel right for the setting. From there, he starts seeing possibilities.
That might mean working steel into a custom gate, combining wood and metal for a bridge, creating a natural water feature or turning an idea into a one of a kind stone inlay. He enjoys figuring out how different materials can work together and finding solutions for projects that require some imagination.
A lot of Scott's work starts with simply noticing something others might pass by. He has a natural eye for seeing what could work in a space and the hands on experience to figure out how to build it.
For Scott, good work should feel like it belongs on the property and will still belong there years from now.
